Established in Lawrence, MA in 2004, NDCR is a private, Catholic, college preparatory high school currently based in Methuen, Massachusetts serving 300 economically challenged youth.
NDCR is part of the Cristo Rey Network, a growing association of 38 schools across the United States whose education model is built around the Corporate Work Study Program (CWSP), a unique and highly successful partnership with the business community.
Through the CWSP, each student works five full days per month during the academic year at one of 75 companies throughout the Merrimack Valley, I-93/495 corridors, and southern New Hampshire to earn a majority of their family's portion of tuition.

Collaborates directly with prospective students, parents, faculty, area schools and community organizations.
The Director of Admissions supports the crucial functions of the Admission's department by recruiting, admitting and enrolling new and transfer students to Notre Dame Cristo Rey High School.
This person is responsible for meeting the annual enrollment goal set by the President and Executive Leadership Team.
This role is the first point of contact for many students, parents and community members and the position requires both a commitment to the mission of Notre Dame Cristo Rey - and a particular passion for expanding our unique program to underserved students - and an ability to build community and develop and manage relationships with local schools, organizations, and churches.
This position reports directly to the President and supports all efforts to articulate the mission, programs, and opportunities of Notre Dame Cristo Rey to students, parents/guardians, elementary/middle school educators, principals and counselors, and other gatekeepers in the community.
She/he must be able to adapt to changing responsibilities and maintain absolute confidentiality.

SUMMARY OF
Responsibilities:
Typical Functions for Director of Admissions Position ? Understand, embrace, and implement the school's mission and philosophy as written in the Cristo Rey Network Mission Effectiveness Standards, participate in the Christ centered life of the school; and model the school's philosophy in working with students, parents, colleagues, and administration.
? Represent Notre Dame Cristo Rey to potential students and their families at high school fairs, expos, church services, community fairs, and other community gatherings, often with representatives of the school community such as student ambassadors.
? Maintains a positive working relationship with the Catholic school feeder schools, as well as the local public and charter schools.
? Collaborate with the Director of Marketing and Communications to develop marketing strategies, especially with design of promotional materials and use of social media.
Will also assist in the design of advertisements, mailings, web pages, and other publications that will promote the school to prospective students and their families.
? Prepares the Admissions Calendar with significant dates and deadlines.
? Organize and administer the interview and admissions process which includes coordinating with faculty, Corporate Work Study staff, school leadership and prospective students and their families to ensure an equitable, timely, smooth and effective admissions process.
? Collects and evaluates information from prospective students such as applications, test scores, recommendations, family financial status, school records, etc.
by maintaining the Admissions Plus database.
? Responsible for the preparation of the admission and financial aid file for each enrollment applicant with all academic and endorsement documents.
? Lead the Student and Parent Ambassador Programs which includes recruiting students and parents, providing ambassadorial training, and scheduling ambassadors for a variety of external and internal events.
? Provide logistical support and planning to internal and external engagement in school ambassadorial programs such as Open Houses, Shadow Days, New Student Orientations, 6/7/2022 and other promotional events.
? Provide superior customer service by maintaining timely communication in Spanish & English with prospective students and their families.
? Support families with the timely completion and maintenance of financial aid and FACTS applications for incoming students in collaboration with the Business Office.
? Maintain admissions databases to create and support an efficient admissions process.
? Produces and presents weekly reports to the President and bi-monthly reports for the Board of Directors regarding recruitment successes and challenges, and any recommendations for changes.
? Model appropriate and ethical behavior and professionalism for the student population.
? Attend and participate in Cristo Rey Network programs and professional development for Directors of Admissions or other programs as directed by the President.
? Supervises the Admissions Administrative Assistant and works with her/him collaboratively to run a smooth and organized department.
? Attends school functions in support of incoming students.
? Some nights and weekends are required.
Qualified Candidates ? Bachelor's Degree required.
? At least 3 years in recruitment, enrollment services, non-profit management, marketing, student services or related fields.
? Bilingual/literate in Spanish ? Ability to serve economically challenged, racially diverse students and their families with patience and humility.
? Friendly, outgoing, collaborative with a strong customer service focus and acts with a sense of urgency.
? Highly collaborative, dynamic, self-starter team player with the ability to foster a large number of professional relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
? Strong organizational, time management and communication skills (verbal, listening, & written).
? Detail oriented, able to multi-task and remain flexible to the changing needs of the school and our many constituencies.
? Strong computer expertise in Microsoft Office Suite.
Familiarity with the Admissions Plus database is helpful but not mandatory.
? Ability to manage multiple, complex priorities with demanding time frames.
? A deep belief that all students deserve excellent, Catholic, college preparatory education.
? Compliance with CORI background checks and completion of Protecting God's Children program or equivalent local Diocesan-required program.
? Licensure/Certification:
Valid driver's license required; must be insurable with a good driving record.
Reliable transportation to recruiting sites is required.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
