Nationally recognized as a leader in community medicine (family practice, pediatrics, internal medicine, and geriatrics), GLFHC has clinical sites in Lawrence, Methuen, and Haverhill and is the sponsoring organization for the Lawrence Family Medicine Residency.
The Finance Team at Greater Lawrence Family Health Center is looking for a Senior Accountant to join its growing department! In this newly created role, the Senior Accountant will process, maintain and report the financial information for the Health Center in accordance with policies established by the Board of Directors, management and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
As part of the team you will lead and participate in the Health Center's accounting functions including month end close, reporting, preparing and reviewing journal entries and account reconciliations, financial statements, annual reporting, audits and financial analysis.
Requirements
Experience:
Four to six years in a progressively responsible accounting or finance position in the Healthcare, Non-Profit or Public Accounting fields.
Education Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field required; combination of education and experience will be considered.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
